Role:

This position is accountable for the teller and FSR operations of one or more branch locations. They are responsible for the growth and profitability of their assigned branch(es) through the expansion of member relationships, establishing and attaining sales and service goals while developing and maintaining a high-quality sales and service culture. This position manages the daily sales and service activities of its assigned branch(es).

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned branch(es): hires, reviews, schedules, provides performance reviews and monitors the work of tellers and FSRs. Handles escalated issues arising in assigned branches. Responsible for leading and coaching superior sales and service behaviors and activities by the entire team.

Develop and execute plans in order to meet branch service and sales goals. Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensures appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.

Meets or exceeds the established branch goals each month and ensures that direct reports achieve their individual goals. Management of cash requirements and cash security for branch operations. Responsible for optimal management of vault cash in assigned branches

Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s), suppliers, other financial institutions and similar groups.

Monitors department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations. Takes action to resolve any out-of-compliance issues.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements:

1. Maintain a cohesive, highly trained, motivated staff sufficient to meet daily branch demands.

2. Meets or exceeds the established branch goals each month and ensures that direct reports achieve their individual goals.

3. Provide informed, professional and accurate service and support to all members and team members. Provide feedback to members and team members from member surveys within the prescribed time based on the Service Guarantee.

4. Works with Regional AVP to develop recommendations for improvements to personnel, facilities, products, pricing, policies, and processes.

5. Development of relationships with the community and coordinating branch participation in community activities.

6. Promotion of sales culture within the branch - use of relationship building tools.

7. Ensure recovery of all critical branch functions for business contingency within recovery times set by business constraints or disaster recovery plan.

8. Complies with all applicable rules, regulations and policies, including but not limited to

BSA, OFAC and Physical Security.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education: (1) A two year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly. Normally expected to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. but may be required to work nights and/or weekends.

Must adhere to safety rules and regulations.
