Salaried exempt- immediate benefits - 1st shift, potential promotion to go to 2nd shift. The incumbent is responsible for meeting the requirements of the plant processing manufacturing function. Production, production and time reporting, cost/efficiency results, crewing, uptime, quality, safety, GMP's, HACCP, independent audits, and the coordinating of required support functions to optimize daily plant operations. Experience/certification in GFSI Systems such as SQF and BRC a plus.
Minimum of 5 years experience in food manufacturing management. Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Good supervisory and interpersonal skills to direct, motivate, evaluate and train employees both supervisory and hourly to achieve desired results quickly, effectively and accurately. Proficient in process management to contribute to the establishment of cost standards, labor utilization, improve yield, efficiencies and contribute to standards and SOP's.
