We are opening a NEW store location in Batesville, MS in May and are looking for an experienced Store Manager to join our team.
The Parker School Uniforms Store Manager is responsible for day-to-day store operations of his/her store. He/she will ensure excellent customer service and product knowledge is provided to each customer. The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring that inventory is maintained and accounted for. He/she will recruit, train, and oversee all store employees.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible and accountable for ensuring that Parents and School Administration are served in accordance with our four core values of: Integrity, Commitment, Quality, and Accountability.
- Responsible for directing customer service duties including phones, counter, cash register, and shipping;
- Ensure outstanding customer service that meets or exceeds company standards;
- Ensure a clean and attractive store display and an excellent general appearance;
- Responsible for cash register management, including, reconciliation of receipts, change supply, deposits, etc;
- Perform general human resource duties such as, scheduling, timekeeping records, payroll, discipline, employee reviews;
- Responsible for initial and on-going training for store staff on product knowledge, sales techniques and goals, and company policies and procedures regarding safety and cash security;
- Responsible for inventory control and related activities such as, receiving, verifying and stocking merchandise coming from the warehouse or vendors.
- Communicate special orders and needs differing from prescribed levels.
- Perform and oversee physical inventory;
- Responsible for controlling labor costs accordingly to prescribed budgets and sales activity;
- Responsible for preparing, coordinating, and performing on-campus retail sales as needed.
- Perform store opening/closing procedures including reconciling cash receipts, completing bank deposits and securing facility.
